Abstract

NGN(Next Generation Network) is an integration and open network frame, which provides voice, data and multimedia services. Through optimizing the frame of the network, it integrates not only the network but also the services. The packet switching network can inherit the services of the circuit switching network, and provide some new services that the old network cannot do. The concept and frame of NGN are introduced, the main technology and advantages are discussed, and the prospects are addressed.
