Abstract

Long-drum dance of Yao nationality,created by Yao nationality in their daily life,is the dancing form to entertain the spirits and human beings.The dancing actions have close relations with Yao nationality's living environment and production activities as well as their religious belief and national idealism.This paper analyzed the origin and kinds of long-drum dance of Yao nationality,and studied multi-cultural characters and various social functions of long-drum dance.
