Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the best fixative methods of the remained tissues of frozen sections.[Methods]75 cases were divided into 5 groups respectively, which useed 5 different fixative methods such as the 4% formalin fixation under 4℃(Group A),the formalin fixation under room temperature(Group B),4% formalin microwave fixation(Group C),bouin solution fixation under normal temperature(Group D)and Zenker solution under normal temperature(Group E).The effective results were observed in the routinely dehydration,paraffin-embedded sections and HE staining by microscope.[Results] The high quality rate in the Group A was significantly higher than that in the other Groups. There are significant difference among them(P0.01).[Conclusion] The method with 4% formalin fixation under 4℃ may solve the problem which the effect of HE staining frozen tissues was not good.
