Abstract

Mao Zedong's thought that contradictions exist in socialist society, and contradictions between relations of production and productive forces, and superstructure and economic base are still the fundamental contradictions of socialist society provides theoretical supports for the reform of socialist society. Mao's theory to strictly differentiate and properly deal with contradictions with two types of characteristics, particularly to properly deal with the contradictions among the people, is the compulsory course to improve the communist party's the abilities of administration. By summarizing experiences of and lessons from Mao Zedong, the Chinese Communist Party since the Third Session of the Eleventh Central Committee has formed definite and firm opinion in understanding the major contradiction of socialist society.
