Abstract
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of curcumin on pulmonary fibrosis in rats induced by Bleomycin. Methods: Model of pulmonary fibrosis in rats was induced by Bleomycin by subcutaneous injection of Bleomycin and they were treated with curcumin. The histological changes were observed with microscope. The levels of Hyp,MDA in pulmonary tissue were determined to reveal the event pulmonary damage. Results: Curcumin significantly reduced the elevate levels of Hyp,MDA in pulmonary tissue.Pathological examination suggested curcumin has the rapeutic effecton experimental pulmonary fibrosis wih significant. Conclusion: Curcumin may have the rapeutic effecton Bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats.
