Abstract

In this paper,the State Space Model is applied to study the TFP of the West-Straits economic zone from 1991 to 2008,and the contribution of capital,labor and TFP to economic growth.Besides,we also have a comparative analysis to the TFP of the west-straits economic zone.Research shows that the capital input is still the key factor to promote the economic growth.The role of TFP to economic growth is relatively weaker.The fluctuations of TFP in each province of the west-straits economic zone have the similarities to some degree and their own characteristics too.
