Principle and Realization of ARM7TDMI Processor Debug Based on JTAG

Abstract

In order to explain how to use JTAG interface for debugging,this paper introduces some information about the debug interface,such as the conception of JTAG boundary scan architecture and the ICE breaker module and so on.The paper offers two examples to explicate how to apply JTAG debug technique.The examples get correct results in the debug system.The results show that it is easy and efficiency to use JTAG interface in debugging embedded system based on ARM processor.
