Abstract

The physicochemical properties of the desulfurization fly ash from a coal fired power plants in Xuzhou was studied from four aspects including the particle distribution, microstructure, mineral composition and contents of heavy metals in this paper. And based on this study emission properties of the fly ash also was researched. The results showed that the content of granule between 3 to 45 μm was more than 80%,there were more spherical particles with smooth surface and the mineral composition mainly were mullite and quartz, and the emission factor of the fly ash reached to 1.95 kg/t.Mn,Zn,Cr,Cu,Pb,Ni,Cd elements in fly ash were selected in this paper. The concentration of Mn was the highest in the fly ash,and the emission factor of Mn was also higher, the value was 125.04 g/t.The fly ash is harmful to the human and environment,so it must be disposed by some reasonable measures.
