On the Contemporary Creation of Ecological Literature in China

Influenced by the world ecological literature, Chinese ecological literary creation has been flourishing gradually in the Chinese ecological crisis since the early 1980s. Ecological reportage, ecological fiction, and ecological prose have played an important part in exposing ecological crisis and appealing to ecological protection. But Chinese ecological literature are mostly short of profound thinking and thorough inquiry, and research on the theory of ecological critique is behind the times. Moreover, the ecological critique of literature in China has not yet received enough attention from the literal critical circles.
