Abstract
Solutions to the strain and displacement is given for viscoelastic surrounding rocks described with fractional derivative by using elastic-viscoelastic correspondence principle, proprieties of fractional derivative and inverse Laplace transformation.Result shows that fractional derivative model describes viscoelastic mechanical of rocks precisely and has a wide application.
