Abstract
A new kind of starlike polyether epoxy resin was synthesized and its structure and composition were characterized by the FTIR spectrum and the chemical analysis.The modification effects on diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A(DGEBA,epoxy resin E-44)were studied by impact test,tensile test,bend test and SEM.The results show that it could greatly improve the toughˉness of the cured resin without much loss of tensile strength and bend elastic module and the impact fractures of the cured resin clearly show the characters of toughen fracture.
