Abstract
Based on the thought of hardware electric circuit design turned to software,it was put forward to design about traffic light control system with FPGA and finite state machine according to control requirements.Through defining the system states and their transfer relation, the hardware modules logic relation was described with multi-process.Under simulation using VHDL,the function test in the experiment box carried on.The expectation function carried out correctly.Only using one piece of FPGA,the control function of demand is completed. It is showed that the design way is clear and the process is flexible.
