On the Professional Development of Teachers in Long Distance Education in the Context of Information Technology

Abstract
Based on a study of the professional qualities of teachers of long distance education,the paper analyzes the major problems in the professional development of these teachers and proposes some solutions.It is concluded that against the background of rapid development of information technology,attention should be attached to the professional development of teachers of distance education,which is the cornerstone for the teaching quality of distance education and a must for the team building of distance education.
