Abstract

Objective To analyze the characteristics of key refraction factors, such as spherical 、astigmatism and their internal relation ship.To further investigate the distributions among diopter, astigmatism and age of high myopia. Methods This retrospective analysis is conducted in a cohort with simple axial high myopia(diopter less than-6.00D).High myopia patients with curvature myopia、accommodative myopia and other concomitant syndromes were excluded from this study. We performed thefollowing analysis in all patients, common eye examinations, subjective optometry. The colleted data were graded according to age、astigmatism and spherical equivalent, and statistically analyzed using SPSS(P0.05).Results There is statistically significant difference between age and Spherical equivalent.with age growing, the amount of high myopia is increasing.Astigmatism is also increasing, but the property does not change. Conclusion It suggests that diopteris and astigmatism probably increase with age. This suggests that high myopia is the developing disease.Astigmatism has large percent in myopia, and that shows the shape of ball changes much in the early period.
