Abstract

Red Fuji apple trees of young fruit time were used as materials in the experiment. The biomass of trees and the calcium content and accumulation of the cortex and the xylem were studied in this paper. The result indicated that the biomass of trees were 10.21 kg,the dry weight of the cortex and the xylem were 2.14 and 7.07 kg,respectively. The dry weight of scaffold was the head of the various organs.Calcium content was difference remarkable.Calcium content of the roots was higher than the most organs of above ground parts.Calcium content of the central leader of cortex was highest. The calcium accumulation of tree was 76.67 g.The calcium accumulation of the cortex and the xylem were 52.44 and 13.83 g,respectively. It was the root of the diameter from 1.0 to 5.0 cm that the calcium accumulation was highest.
