Abstract
This paper discusses the UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) in the third -generation mobile network architecture. The overview of UTRAN including the rule of its defining, architecture, function, the access stratum, OM, synchronisation, and general protocol model for UTRAN interfaces is introduced in this paper. Finally, the author propose that Chinese 3G mobile communication access network architecture should adopt UTRAN.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
