How did the Chinese and the Western Receive the Other Religion

The Greek culture which had been researching the universe's nature and historical secrecy with scientific zeal and the trend of seeking knowledge finally had embraced the Christian culture which had been researching the universe's aim and life meaning with ethics zeal and the trend of faith, then they commonly take on the historical task in the Western culture practice. It was difficult to construct a flexible culture for the Chinese which had been combining Confucianism and Taoism and merging the historical with the ethical content. The explanation about the transmigrations of life and death,retribution of cause and effect from the Buddhism both coincide with the Confucianism and make up Taoism with ethics and coincide with the Taoism and make up Confucianism with promising transcendental salvation.
