Preservative Effects of Different Treatments on Cut Flowers of Eustoma grandiflorum

Abstract
The preservative effect of GA3pretreatment combined with vase solution(sucrose and 8-hydroxyquinoline) on Eustoma grandiflorum cut flowers were evaluated. The results showed that the vase life of cut flowers could be extended by 25mg / L GA3pretreatment combined with vase solution containing 30 g / L sucrose and 100 mg / L 8-hydroxyquinoline. Meanwhile,the fresh weight of flowering branch was increased; moisture balance was improved; degradation of soluble protein was delayed; and activity of POD, SOD in cut flowers was all increased.
