Abstract
The acceptance theory of Western Feminism and its development will shed much light on the study of the writing practice of contemporary Mainland China’s women writers. It is easily seen that there is a strong sense of Feminist discourse in their writings though modern China does not enjoy the social, philosophical and cultural foundation for the emergence of Feminism, nor the Feminist theory. Since 1980’s, a typical cultural discourse of Feminism has appeared in their writings at different stages.
