Status and Prospects for Conservation of Crop Germplasm Resources in Guizhou

There are the abundant crop germplasm resources in Guizhou,which is the important component part of national crop germplasm resources.20 thousand of crop germplasm resources including rice,rape,maize and wheat,etc.have been arranged and preserved.The conservation system for the germplasm renewal and resource protection is including using germplasm resource banks,the different habitat reproduction and complementary structure between state and Guizhou.The paper reviews the conservation status and protection way of crop germplasm resources and puts forward the correlated suggestion for enhancing crop germplasm resource protection and promoting its exchange and utilization in Guizhou.
