Abstract

This essay deals with some rhetorical figures such as rhyme,alliteration and homophone.By making a comparison of the differences in phonetic rhetoric between Chinese and English,the author makes an analysis on what rhyme,alliteration and homophone play in phonetic rhetoric and proposes some ideas for our further study.
