Abstract
The report of the 17th Party Congress points out that the core value system of socialism must be integrated into the whole process of national education,and into people's conscious pursuit.In the new era with the new situation,it is of far-reaching significance to implement the spirit of the 17th Party Congress,adhere to the socialist concept of honor,bear in mind the objectives and tasks of ideological and political work,cultivate socialist builders and successors,and to form the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This article makes comments on the significance of and the approaches to the construction of the common ideal in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
