Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effect of blood fat by controlling body weight and body mass index(BMI). Methods:55 volunteers with body overweight and hyperlipemia who wanted loss their body weight by diet and physical exercise were observed for 26 weeks. Results:The body weigh, the level of blood fat and BMI decreased in all volunteers. In male patients, cholesterol-lowering level was closely correlated with body weight and BMI. Cholesterol level in the female patients reduced more than that in male patients, there was significant difference between male patients and female patients. Loss of body weight and BMI in the female patients was less than that in male patients. There were significant difference between them. Conclusion:The body weight, BMI and the level of blood fat decreased obviously in the overweight patients by exercises and reasonable diets.
