Strict Liability:Focus on Anglo-American Criminal Law

In criminal law society the view was held that strict liability is typical of result liability and objective incrimination,and hence should be eradicated.The concept of strict liability originated from Anglo-American criminal law and has not been introduced into Chinese criminal law.To assess criminal strict liability and draw a right conclu- sion on it,one should have a comprehensive understanding of its background,connotation and basic values.In Anglo- American criminal law,the application of strict liability is limited by many requirements.Different from absolute lia- bility,result liability or objective incrimination,strict liability is worth surviving.
