Abstract

[Objective] To provide theoretical reference for the propagation of Nerium indicum Mil..[Method] Five kinds of different substrates were used to culture the Nerium indicum Mil.cuttings,and the impact of various substrates on rooting of Nerium indicum Mil.cuttings was studied.[Result] Different substrates showed great influence on the rooting characteristics and physiological indexes of Nerium indicum Mil.And the effect of the substrates of perlite,vermiculite and turf(1∶ 1∶ 1) was better than other substrates.[Conclusion] The substrates of perlite,vermiculite and turf(1∶ 1∶ 1) had a better effect on rooting of Nerium indicum Mil.cuttings.
