Abstract
The study of The Book of Songs in the Qing Dynasty can be divided into three stages.They are the practical thoughts in the early stage of Qing Dynasty, the beginning of the Sinology study of the Book of Songs;the golden stage of Sinology study of The Book of Songs in the period of Emperor Qian Long and Jia Qing;the full development of the study of collecting the missing poems about The Book of Songs against the background of the rejuvenation of modern study of Confucian classics in the later stage. The dissertation summarizes the characteristics and important schools of every stage,and makes an outline of the study of The Book of Songs in the Qing Dynasty and thus provides the premise of further study.
