Abstract

On the basis of the depth-averaged 2-D tidal model, the tidal regime of the Haizhou Bay is studied. The influences of different wind conditions on the Lagrange residual flow are analyzed. With Linhongkou as a land pollution source, the variation of average pollutant concentration at the bay with time is studied according to the depth-averaged 2-D dispersion equation. Under the assumption of a constant volume of pollutants discharged, the average pollutant concentrations at the bay under different discharge modes are compared.
