Difference between Chinese and Western Story in the Unitary Structure Respect

Abstract

Structure is a sophisticated problem in a novel.We must make clear of a novel's structure in order to grasp its theme.Due to the differences between Chinese and Western cultural traditions and modes of thinking,there are great difierences between structures in Chinese and Western novels.Only by understanding these difierences can we analyze the themes of Western novels deeply and lay a foundation for studying Western literature.
