Abstract

Carthamus tinctorius L. is valuable materials in the pharmaceutical,oil,industrial. Carthamus tinctorius L. seed quality directly affects its value in use. This paper reviews the research progress of Carthamus tinctorius L. breeding in China,describes the characteristics and quality analysis of existing safflower seed varieties,so as to provide a theoretical basis for Carthamus tinctorius L. breeding and cultivation.
