Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the transforming growth factor-β 1(TGF-β 1) and chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related liver disease, especially liver fibrosis and its clinical significance.Method:Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) measured was used to measure the serum TGF-β 1 levels of 45 patients with chronic hepatitis B patients(HBV group),39 patients with cirrhosis(cirrhosis group) and 30 healthy persons(control group) in,and to detect the Indicators of liver fibrosis. Results:the level of serum TGF-β 1 of HBV group and the cirrhosis group were significantly higher than control group, and serum TGF-β 1 levels of HBV group were lower than the cirrhosis group(P0.05).The IV collagen(IV-C),laminin(LN),hyaluronic acid(HA) concentrations of HBV group and the cirrhosis group were significantly higher than the control group, and the Indicators levels of liver fibrosis of cirrhosis group were higher than those of HBV group(P0.05).The Serum levels of TGF-β 1 was positively correlated with the liver fibrosis(r=0.537,0.653,0.756,P0.05).Conclusion:TGF-β 1 levels in patients is closely related to liver fiber,to reduce the level of TGF-β 1 may be a new approach which can be used to Prevention and treatment of liver fiber for hepatitis B patients.
