Abstract
[Objective] Field trial was conducted to test performance of 24 earlier-maturing soybean varieties newly introduced and selected cropping after winter wheat in North Xinjiang.[Method] The agronomic character, yield and quality traits of these varieties were analyzed with randomized block experiment.[Result] The results showed that HH-25 characterized with the shortest growth period(74 d),and there were 6 varieties with growth period less than 79 d.Seed yields of 9 varieties were higher than 3 000 kg/hm2,and HH-50 has the highest yield(4 305 kg/hm2).There were 4 varieties ranked into higher protein one,and DN-41 with the highest protein content(42.5%).There were 3 varieties ranked into higher oil one,the highest is Yidadou 1(21.8%).The total protein fat contents of 5 varieties were higher than the others, and ND-4 has the highest protein fat content(60.4%).[Conclusion] Most varieties tested were suitable for cropping after wheat, and particularly those varieties with high yield and high-quality may be play key roles in cropping after wheat in North Xinjiang.
