Abstract

This paper analyzes two-stage matrix converter with 18 switches, deduces the space vector modulation strategy of the rectifier and the inverter, and introduces zero current commutation. The experimental device was built with the controller DSP,the power switch IGBT and corresponding control software is programmed.Three-phase symmetrical inductive load was driven on the condition that the modulation ratio and PWM cycle were changed. The experiment verified that the controls of the output amplitude and frequency have been realized, which provides a theoretical and practical basis for further research of the two-stage matrix converter.
