Abstract
In order to make a scientific and effective evaluation of the bidders, and then make the right supplier selection, this paper established a mathematical model and proposed corresponding evaluation process of the decision-making problem based on improved TOPSIS(technique for order preference by similarity to an ldeal solution) method.Through an example, respectively by using the traditional TOPSIS method and the improved TOPSIS method, supplier evaluation and selection were carried out.The result verified that the improved TOPSIS method is more applicable and effective than the traditional TOPSIS method.
