Abstract
This paper studied effects of weather conditions on spikelets per panicle by the method of interval sowing times in the field. The results showed that temperature was a major factor affecting formation spikelets per panicle.Under the condition, two temperatures (25.0±0.2℃,30.1±0.4℃ for japonica rice and 19.4-23.5℃,30.1±0.6℃ for indica rice) was beneficial to the formation of spikelets per panicle. The temperature of 27.9±0.2℃ was not beneficial to the formation of spikelets per panicle of japonica rice, whereas the temperature of 24.6-27.7℃ was not beneficial to the formation of spikelets per panicle of indica rice.
