Abstract

This paper gives a brief introduction to the development of the overseas commercial optical remote sensing satellites in this decade,with the emphasis on the technical specifications and performance of such satellites in the USA and France.On the basis of comparative analysis,the paper raises suggestions on some key technologies which China should develop in the near future.
