Abstract
Major measuring methods applied in automatic package machines are measurements in volume, in weight, and in counting. This paper discussed respectively the measuring principles and their designs for some typical measuring devices, which utilized the three types of measuring methods above. The measuring precision and applicability were also compared among these measuring devices.
