Abstract
Objective To investigate role of LyGDI protein in human lung cancer and to evaluate its clinical significance. Methods The differential protein expression of LyGDI between lung cancer and its corresponding normal lung tissue was analyzed by Western blot hybridization using well characterized monclonal antibodies. Results Results of Western blot suggested that the expression of LyGDI polycloral was significantly high in lung cancer compared with the corresponding normal lung tissue in 29 case(P0.05).It was not associated with SCLC(small cell lung cancer) and NSCLC(nonsmall cell lung cancer) differentiation of lung cancer. In NSCLC,the expression of LyGDI was associated with lymph node metasis(P0.05)and histology(P0.01),but it did not seem to vary among gender(P0.05),age(P0.05),pathology(P0.05)and stage(P0.05)。 Conclusion The expression of LyGDI is associated with the metasis and histological of lung cancer. There was poor clinical and pathological difference for LyGDI.LyGDI may play a role in lung cancer.
