An easy synthesis method of new type of gemini cationic surfactant from long-chain alkyldimethylamine,its hydrochloride and epichlorohydrin or other spacres,the surface-active properties of synthesized products and the effects of the alkyl length and the structure of the spacers on the properties are revivwed.
