Abstract
In view of the present arguments about compressibility study,through in-depth analysis,new compressibility relationship is established by derivation,which overcomes the paradox phenomenon on formula given by Prof.Li Chuan-liang.The correlation and analysis in this paper indicate that this relationship is correct,and Li's formula is wrong in both physical meaning and quantity relation.It is concluded that the pore compressibility measured by volumetric method is higher than the actual one and there is a logic reversal phenomenon,which is not closely related to micro clearance and covers with plastic deformation.The main reason is that unreasonable data processing statistics results in that the compressibility of rock is higher than that of formation fluid.
