On Confucius' Idea of the Harmonious

Abstract
The Analects records Confucius' remarks on his ideals for a harmonious society, his standards for a harmonious human relationship and order, his model for a harmonious education, his requirement for a harmonious personality and his principles for the harmony between man and nature. In spite of the negative influences upon later generations, Confucius' thoughts on the harmonious have tenets of lasting value. They may help the modern man establish a scientific world look and achieve a harmonious relationship between the individual and the society, between body and soul, and between man and nature.
