Abstract
Traditional economics overemphasized the advantages of competition and disadvantages of monopoly, which divorces from practical conditions of economic system in new times. Oligopoly has its own good points and this paper makes an analysis on it. The paper points out the necessity to change from monopolistic competition to oligopoly and comes up with suggestions to solve the problems in realizing it.
