Effect of planting date on the agronomic characters and quality of vegetable soybean

This experiment studied the effect of the agronomic character and quality of different planting date of vegetable soybean Xinnongcaidou 1. The study result showed that the growing period was shortened along with the planting date postponing. The plant height and the height of initial pod stage was increased. Stem thickness, nodes, the branch number,the length of branch was decreased along with the planting date postpone.Pod number,seed number and seeds weight of single plant were decreased along with the planting date postponing.The relation between fresh weight of 100 seeds and planting date was not significant; Protein content was increased, starch content was decreased, soluble sugar content was increased and decreased successively in seeds of vegetable soybean. The yield of the second planting date was the highest, namely,13 594.20 kg/hm~2.Optimal result was achieved with the treatment of planted on April 10 th～25 th.
