Abstract

The biomass-density effect of 6-year old Eucalyptus urophylla plantation in Liuzhou area was researched by using relative growth method. The results indicated that the biomass of various organs of E.urophylla plantation was closely related to cruise factor(D2H).The stand densities were 833,1 111,1 250,1 429,1 666,2 000 and 2 500 plants/hm2 resp.,the stand biomasses were 61.57,81.54,90.05,79.94,79.39,74.64 and 74.03 t/hm2 resp.and the stand biomasses varied in para-curve with increase of density. The stand biomasses of single plant and various constituents were decreased along with increase of stand density.1 250 plants/hm2 was perfect density of local E.urophylla plantation.
