Abstract
The growth of seedling stage and 21 years old trees of Thuja plicata,T.occidentalia,Chamaecyparis lawsoniana and five forms of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana introduced and cultivated in Kunming arboretum were studied.It was found that all the studied species or forms showed promising adaptability to natural conditions of Kunming arboretum.These valuable tree species could be used as reforestation species and timber use species,it was suggested to develop planting in similar areas.
