Discussion on Pipe Material Selection of the Village Water Supply Project in Guangdong Province

Pipe investment is a very important part of the village water supply project.The selection of pipe material directly influences the investment,implementation of the project and its later period operation management.Based on the comparative study on several commonly used water supply pipe and considering the construction features of the village water supply project in Guangdong province,some results are obtained: it is economical and reasonable to adopt PE pipe,SRTP pipe and ductile iron pipe by distinguishing pipe diameter.
