Prevention and Control against Large Volume Concrete Cracks of Pump Stations Inlet Conduit

Abstract

The inlet conduits in pump station are almost large volume and variable cross-section abnormal structures.Concrete cracks are the normal quality defects in the course of construction. Based on the construction of the Xietai pump stations inlet conduit of the first ERP,the measures on precautions and control against large volume concrete cracks were analyzed. Experience here can be used for the eastern route projects in Jiangsu province and the similar projects of South-to-North Water Transfer.
