Political Development or "Political Retreat"——Thinking on the Strategic Retreat of Political Development of New China

Political development is the common issue that state of different types is faced with.The objective of China's political development is democracy of the people.Compared with the outstanding achievement of reform and opening up for the past thirty years,China's political development is lagged behind in terms of the practical and theoretical level,which needs reflection from the course of development of New China for the past sixty years.It is more suitable to describe the current political development as retreat of political development,in contrast with the political strategic attack of China before reform and opening up.Political strategic attack,out of touch with Chinese historical and social reality and conditions,is the romantic political development beyond reality.Retreat to unqualified and incomplete socialist politics after reform from romantic political development is considered as the political development tending toward realism.To seek the socialist politics-oriented political change among the relations of diversified political entities is the Chinese political development strategy that is infused with the concept of harmonious symbiosis and combination of idealism and realism.
