Four Rare Local Records of the Ming Dynasty Kept by Nanjing Library:A Textual Research

The study of local records of the Ming dynasty reaches a higher level both in depth and width than ever before.Especially those covering various fields and layers of life before the years of the Ming dynasty are of high historical value.As time goes by and objective factors occur,there exist nowa- days only a few rare local records of the Ming dynasty,which can be a source of much exploitation and research.The author announces his study on their values of original historical materials and document editions to benefit the study of Ming history and the publication and research of Ming local records.
