Abstract
The two-dimensional capacitive touch panel is calculated and analyzed by ANSYS,and the influences of the capacitive touch panel construction, electrical parameters and the load on the device linearity are discussed. The conclusions are as following: It is the ratio(γ) of the touching-surface resistance to the electrode resistance that influenced the linearity of the square bordered capacitive touch panel, and the higher the ratio, the better the linearity. The appropriate value is γ 100.The optimal factor κ in the position formula effect on the linearity of capacitive touch panel, and the load, structure and the flatness of capacitive touch panel will cause additional position error.
