Abstract

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effects and adverse reactions of fluvoxamine and paroxetine for treating obsesbive-compulsive disorder.Methods:61 obsessive-compulsive disorder patients were randomly divided into two groups,the patients were respectively adminstrated fluvoxamine and paroxetine for 8 weeks.The Yale-Brown Scale,HAMD scale and TESS scale were respectively used to evaluate therapeutic effecs and adverse reactions before treatment,and 2w,4w,6w,8w after treatment.Results:The therapeuric effects of fluvoxamine was similar with paroxetine,moreover,the side effects of fluvoxamine was less.Conclusions:Fluvoxamine is a safe and effective drug for treating obsessive-compulsive disorder,and worthy of utilizing in clinic.
